I’d like to discuss this paper at the next NRG meeting on March 18th at RIT. As many of you know we are beginning to prepare another paper for submission that will demonstrate cell adhesion and growth on the new SiO2 membranes. I see a lot of parallels with this paper and I like the journal and it’s audience (ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces). This paper seems somewhat basic to me and there is clearly a major fault with a lack of PDMS controls for many of the figures, but nevertheless I’d like to go through it as a group and hear your feedback.
